Butterfly Mounts

If you gather up 100 of a butterfly of the same type it can be taken to Pamela and traded in on a mount, as in a giant rideable butterfly. In theory this is great and it looks fabulous! However, in practice it leaves something to be desired. Oh, it will travel 'cross country just like any other mount (goat, horse, sheep, etc.), and in a reasonably graceful manner as well, and I believe its glide is slightly longer than a regular glider but it does not fly over the water. No, indeed, it's just like you were swimming, with the little meter and everything. That was a big disappointment.

Oh, and if you decide to use your raft and have a hat or hair your hind end will be sitting squarely atop your headdress, probably even worse than when your character is horse-back.
