time runs to fast. it feels stressful
i love the game, but the time runs so fast, that it often feels so stressful. maybe you could give us an option in the settings, where we can slower the time, if we want.
its a really cute and chill game, but the fast running time is anything but relaxing :S

You just need to choose what to focus on. Don`t chew over too much at a time. If you need time to think, just press I, L or T or visit one of the workbenches or chests. Time stops for you, and you can think of what to do.

There is no plenty in the game. There is seasonal quests but they always come back during the season. Once you get to know the seasonal quests you can prepare ahead of time for them. Honestly no rush in this game. As said above find something that you want to focus on and do that for the duration of the time. Then do a switch up and find something else to focus on.

However, I get what you mean some people feel pressured with time ticking away and even if there is no penalty. I get it. I hope you start to feel less stressed about the time.

With that being said, eventually steam work shop will come in the the late future. Right now other things need to be focus on in the game first.

time runs to fast!
i also played stardew valley, but with a time mod :D
i played my time at portia too. it was also stressful in the first time. but now the game has an option in the settings where you can slower the time if you want and it is so much better :)

The time passing gets less stressful over time, it's actually something that provokes decision making and planning, so it gives you that much more satisfaction when you do get things done in time. There are many things to unlock that make tasks much easier so it adds emphasis to using those certain tools, if you give it a chance, it will grow on you.

It is nice to unlock the same blueprints over and over til you finally get something new.
I play this game since the early access starts. but after over hundred hours, the game still feels stressful for me. as i say, i love this game, but not the time thing :/

Same here. I love the game and I love the world but espcecially concerning exploring the game often feels stressful, 'cause its always about running around from A to B and get things done as planed. But sometimes I want the time to spend a day or two just enjoying what I've built or unlocked or run around exploring and looking for cool locations to build something, may even just show friends around my island.

Would be nice if developers would allow people to play the game in the pace they prefer and feel comfortable with, 'cause this isn't a competetive game, it's more about fun, relaxing and enjoying. I'd like to see a slider within the settings where you can slow down / speed up how fast an ingame minute flows at any time you like ( like in My Time at Portia), so everyone can play as they prefere and feel fine with. :)

It is too much like Stardew Valley with the time thing. The fact that things will be ruined or delayed if I do not do it on time causes unnecessary stress. It's fun for a Stardew Valley game, but not an Animal Crossing game which prioritizes the opposite.

It becomes apparent when your farm progresses and becomes bigger.

I TOTALLY AGREE. There are so much things you can do with so little time. I would like at least 10 minutes more? Not too much, but a little time just to do something more during the day.

I only really find things stressful when in early game cause all the quests and things but as you get further in game things slow down. You have to remember there's no penalty if you dont finish a quest and if you cant do the seasonal ones they come back every yr.

During iniital development we experimented with different times for the day and landed on the current time speed that we felt worked the best for us and the community at the time.

If you feel that the current time speed doesn't work for you there is a way of changing it via mods.

You can go to the Modding Wiki and learn how to install mods and download the "Slow Down Time mod" in the mod list

Is the slow time mod plug and play? I don't see any options for the mod once installed and game is running.
