So now I can't find a floating bubble anywhere for quite a few days now. And by the way, the blacksmith wants 5 (I think) silver ores!
Is there any other place to get geodes other than the town mine (by cracking rocks)? Or where there are floating bubbles?
I'm only almost half through Summer. Thanks much!
You have a chance of getting a geode from any rock you mine - not just from the special (purpleish) geode rocks though the special rocks give guaranteed geodes. And I usually end up with a bunch of geodes when doing the dungeon as there are special geode rocks in there, that you can break with your wand and without using up energy, so might as well grab them when in there anyway.
With regards to the bubbles they seem to spawn at specific places. For instance one spawn point is next to Sammys island, another is in the sea next to Robert and so on. Gradually you'll get used to spotting them as you're out exploring anyway.
But getting to falling stars is a challenge now. They are so far away and it's usually at night, so I don't have a lot of time to find where they landed. But I think I read somewhere that it's much easier to get them once you have a glider? Haven't gotten there yet.
Thanks?
The wand can only break rocks in the dungeon - not outside, but makes it worthwhile to grab what you can when going through the dungeon. ☺️
Yes the glider helps with getting around easier. But even with the glider it can be tricky to find stars, if you are in one end of the map and it lands in the other end. If you’re specifically after stars it helps to be around the middle of the map at 10 pm when the star falls. But nonetheless you’ll LOVE the glider 😉
Is it unusual to be into second summer and still not have a glider?
Good to hear about tip about stars! Cool. I do find the map lacking a lot.
That’s very unusual. You should have gotten an email very early in the game about checking on Alberto, who starts the questlne for the glider. But you can see him on your map, so definitely go talk to him asap. He’s in the forest area.
