How to combine Quartz Shards

Hi, I bought some quartz shards from the dungeon vendor to finish a quest for a crystal garden bed. I have that workshop as well as a few others but I can't find a way to combine the quartz shards in any of the crafting menus or anvil. The description says 5 shards can be combined to make a quartz. Does anyone know if this has been implemented? Thanks

Bumping. Got to the 11th floor and bought shards for two gems. How do I combine them?

I don't know but I would try using the forge to see if that works.
