Collecting the bunny for Thorne

I can tame a rabbit easily enough but cannot seem to be able to give it to Thorne to complete the quest, I've tried all sorts of ways without success. Am I meant to build him a hutch for it first?

Drop a hutch near the rabbit. Lead the rabbit so it crosses the hutch. (I have the most luck with trying to get the rabbit to walk under the raise box area.) You get a window saying it is tamed and you can name it. Name it. Open the hutch. Put rabbit in inventory. Use hammer to pick up the hutch.

Go see Thorne now and you can turn in the quest. For the first quest, it must be a brown rabbit. For the second, it must be one brown and one white. Thorne is picky that way.

I'll have to look at the rabbits more closely I hadn't noticed they were coloured differently. Thank you.
