Selling paper is probably the best for early game imo. Once you get seeds for high valued items, just mass plant them all, preferably with fertilizer, and sell them as is. When you get bouquets with the flower workbench, it makes you even more money. Then you get seed bundlers and seed makers that makes you even more money late game.
Just endure. You'll learn real fast that bouquets are the meta. They're ridiculously overpriced in value and seed makers are overly effective. Once you get the lavenders, the game gets easier too. Just save all your money for seeds.
Also, yes, it is frustrating how slow it is to generate money from customers. It gets better as you upgrade your shop but not to the extent you will clear your whole shop in a day. I rarely get a single table cleared. I think it's designed more for the older stacking system and they just didn't update it to have a desired pace. It would be nice if some customers had the rare chance to purchase more than one item, or maybe have a chance that more customers show.
The blueprint vendor is a good option once you have plenty of bunnies to produce delicate fur as a lot of the recipes require it and sell for a decent amount of money.
That's awesome tips, thanks
All this comes at the cost of 3 hours time spent to go to the dungeon. And if you die you can just reset the day and try again.
As you advance a bit in the quests you’ll eventually have the ability to make bouquets. These are huge money makers early on from all the flowers you pick up (and chests also give flowers!).
Also you’ll be able to craft pies eventually from fruit you grow or forage which also sell very well.
Awesome, thanks
The Fisherman upgrade must be purchased in order to start the fishing trap questline. The final quest "Bonus Pie" rewards the recipe for Strawberry Pie.
- Wheat. You can pick this plus some random seeds near the black sheep.
- Cow milk (needs bucket).
- Chicken eggs (ferrets are a great support for auto-collecting).
- Create dough at the cooking station
- Strawberries. Find them in Spring or Summer, or in chests.
- Optimize your fields - use planters, sprinklers. Aim for the Farm plots endgame.
- Use seedmakers to keep a supply with seeds
- Create Strawberry filling at the cooking station
- Build stone ovens and bake your cake
Since farming has many options for automation you can earn a huge amount of money later on.
