Sprinkler doesn't do anything?
I have a copper sprinkler, but it doesn't seem to water any patches, or do anything at all. How do I use it?

Haven't played in awhile but when in build mode with a sprinkler it should show an icon over a patch/planter that it will be watered. So break your sprinkler with a hammer and try moving it around/rotating it till u see that icon over what your trying to water.

Also once you've put the sprinkler down use the watering can on it. You only have to water it once and then never again.

I don't think you can actually water a sprinkler, I installed mine right up against the plots, or inside the plots, in the middle of the rows, up against the planters and even put a couple in the planters and then I watered the dry soil that the sprinkler was set to cover and the next day the sprinklers were working. The gold sprinklers are suppose to cover three plots but rotating during placement I could only get them to cover two plots.

Yup your right four spouts which makes it even worse that I could only get them to cover two plots no matter how much I rotated the angle, the grids in this game sure don't work very well.

guys I found that in order to place the sprinklers properly and make it actually useful, you need to go to settings and turn off the grid placement option. I was stuck like you guys for a long time, but now it works! also remember to water the sprinklers the first time you put it down, after that it should water the plot it is put on everyday on its own

I always turn the grids off for item placement because it works better but sometimes I forget to turn them back on which causes a cow and chicken to become invisible in the barn and coop.

Doesn't give me an option to add water.

my bad, I was doing it wrong. you're supposed to place the sprinkler on DRY soil and then water the soil as normal and it will work the next day.

Yes, I think it confuses people the comment made about watering the sprinklers when it's the
dry ground.

How...would anyone know to do that? LOL Thanks

I use Sprinklers heavy. You don't need to water the soil to get them to work. They just wont water until the next day.
