Thanks for clarifying that you have to start a new campaign to get the Odin armor.
But how come you chose that approach ?
I am almost 70 hours in the campaign and do not want to start over (at least not now).
Why just not add the armor in the manufacture list directly or as a research option ?
Hah, love it. There are some other tweaks coming with later updates that may make your Legendary runs a little tougher. More to come later there!
Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately, true Steam workshop support wasn't planned from the start of the project and it's very difficult to integrate at the stage we're at. It's unlikely to happen, but we do obviously encourage modmakers to continue developing mods... and at the same time, we're looking at popular mods for future QOL updates as well.
The Ambrose update is a patch for the game, and should automatically download via Steam (or wherever you own the game). No extra effort required!
You can continue playing your existing game, and those changes are now part of that campaign, or start anew. It's up to you!
As for DLC, we're too impatient to keep waiting for DLC to start so we suggest just jumping in now and having fun. You can always enable a new DLC later to change the game for you after you won... or been defeated by the Pandorans!
Best of luck!
Regarding our promotional skins, we didn't originally design the game with that level of customization in mind and it was more of an eleventh-hour hack to offer something fun for players starting new games. We try to time them around our DLC, which requires a new game, or big updates like a balance patch that encourages a fresh start. It's not ideal, but the only solution we're able to implement at this time.
Возможно, у нас будет что-то интересное для вас в будущем DLC. Следите за новостями!
Thanks right now I enjoy the new numbers of enemies early on, but all of the extra resources and gear is accelerating my progress so I can't tell if things are actually harder or easier yet, but I don't foresee too many additional problems.
