Sabotage Mission Question

I am playing TFTV, veteran difficulty.

I accepted a diplomacy mission to sabotage a food facility. I have two melee guys with no guns, but they can't slam their hammers into the objects, so, uh, do I really have to shoot these objectives? Is there no alternative? I tried grenades, but they don't do much damage either.

Is the only solution to these missions bringing a LOT of ammo?

Beserkers have pistol proficiency. It's always a good idea to give them at least 1 type (I usually equip them with 3 different pistols to max damage against type of foe).

.....and yes always bring some extra ammo (pistols even more so since they can shoot up to 4 times each turn).

That is a beyond bizarre complaint. Especially after my Berserkers slammed 3 Objects to Destruction, in 4 Raids I did today. Did you not see the RED SQUARE for ASSAULTING location while holding those hammers? If not, then VERIFY FILES to fix the 'bug'. 👍👍 1k🌟 For Verification of Files fixing errors in personal games.🤠🎅

Hi, this is good information and I'll investigate it. I did not have the attack location for my hammers when I tried raiding.

However, could you try phrasing your answer in a less condescending way next time? Thanks!
