Honestly well done embracing a mod and even discounting the package so we can play it. I hope ya'lls next game is great and you have earned so much good will at least with me. Wish more game companies were like ya'll. The industry would be better for it.

To be fair it was their only option to give the game as much longevity as conceivably possible. And even then the modding scene for this game is still very underdeveloped. Not a single music mod, not a single custom voice for soldiers, not a single skin change, nothing...
Voices in particular amaze me. Seem like a low hanging fruit, considering how lacking the vanilla ones are.

Adding new voices, skins, etc. is very high hanging fruit for Phoenix Point, because the game wasn't made from the ground up to support that.

its actually shocking how much mods xcom 2 gets xd i look at nexus mods for alot of games when i get bored i go looking for dark souls mod updates or seeing if someguyseries made a new mod for new vegas. xcom 2 mods is one of those places for me there is allways something new and big. how none of this has translated over is unheard off xD pheonix point isnt even a bad game rip. at least we got 1 big mod like xcom 1 enemy within did with long war

Not to put too fine a point on it; but some folks complain about the toppings on free pizza.

I am grateful for PP, the DLC (even festering sty[sic]), and the mods available. Folks took the time to help us enjoy a great game even more.

If I can figure out how to try out TFTV (I've watched many of the videos) and then easily revert back to what I have (if needed), I'll do that. Not right away though, as I'm laid up with a busted knee and can't access my gaming PC.
