Terror from the Void & other mods

Just bought the DLC so I can play the new TFTV mod. Before I start a new campaign, are there any other mods that are suggested to run alongside? Is it a bad idea to run other mods for conflicts?

As a rule, we recommend not using any other mods with TFTV. However, this one we know to be OK, if you want all your operatives to have pistol proficiency: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2877557663

Thanks for confirming. I'd guessed that was probably the advice, but didn't want to get dozens of hours into a campaign to discover that I could have also been using a cool extra gun or something. Right, I'm looking forward to seeing what Terror has to offer. Loved the vanilla game anyway, so your mod looks brilliant. TIA to the team for the work.
