Achievements? Capture 9 pandorans

I captured scylla, archeron, arthron, triton, chiron, myrmidon, Sirens, brain sucker, all 3 different worms.. What am I missing? Umbra, Sentinels, corruption node?? Was not able to capture eggs though I stunned them plenty

I cleared out the research tree over 5 campaigns 5 different times, got all endings, still says I'm missing one research project

It's a long known bug with that particular achievement. Nobody knows how to get it. Those few who have it are either super lucky or suspect of foul play.

I think this has been discussed at length before on the forum, do a little search see if that helps.

In short, all the live ones is bugged on Steam. It's also bugged on gamepass but used to work, albeit glitched. I got it early but I had to capture 19variants. Since subsequent releases, around year one edition and steam, it stopped working.

The research one I think I can help with. You are most likely missing the project Hecate related research to give the bionic repair tool. It's part of blood and titanium dlc. You want to do the Byzantium mission and during prompts, say harlsen was right in the dialogue choices.

There is more info on the phoenix wiki on this research. That's the one item that trips most people up.

So you can unlock the achievement/trophy for ALL research but the phoenix point research achievement, scientific rigor, won't unlock. That's bugged.

Regarding foul play on Steam, well, you've got mod support that allows the command console to be enabled. Once in that console it's trivial to enter commands to unlock all research, as was mentioned on the discord channel. A user said he accidentally unlocked all the research achievements that way. The Devs arnt really bothered.

The console cannot be unlocked in the gamepass version as its harder to reverse engineer the code. It's double compiled down to c++ using IL2cpp

Might be worth ticking off your research against the list in the sheet linked above. I wrote this sheet to help me get master scientist. Did you get the achievement for manufacturer all items? The research and the items achievement are very closely linked

I think it needs more than fixing. Psychic damage is too rare of an occasions for helmet module where both nightvision and closs range sensors come into play far more often.

The poor thing needs a buff. Maybe mind control resistance or straight +WP bonus.

I got scientific rigor recently, but it did need all or most of the reverse engineering projects. This requirement is reflected in the source code which I recently managed to obtain.

I think the capture achievement, is more related to the pandora Def types structure, but I can't see that.

I've posted on the discord bug discussion what I believe to be the root cause of the capture achievement bug. Assuming my data dump is accurate, it's fairly trivial to fix. In short the actor Def's file has a duplicate entry for fireworms. The acid worm capture won't count as it's tagged as being a fireworm.

I'll put together a formal RCA document for this and the other glitches when I have a little time.
