Speeding up opening a saved game on a Mac
If you have a large number of saved games, showing old saves will take a progressively longer time, until it becomes painfully slow. You can fix this on a Mac by deleting unneeded saves. Since the location of the saves may be hidden in an invisible folder, you need to follow these steps:
- Open the “Phoenix Point” page in your library and click on the “Manage” gear to see its dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the “Manage” menu option under the “Manage” gear and then select the “Browse local files” submenu option.
- You will now be sent to a “Finder” window at this location: /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Phoenix Point
- From here you should navigate back 4 levels (Which you can do by pressing the Cmnd-uparrow keys four times) to: /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support
- From here navigate to: /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/com.snapshotgames.phoenixpoint/Steam/{userid}/
- In this folder you will see your save game files with the extension *.zsav. You can delete your unneeded saves. If Phoenix Point was open when you did this, you will need to quit and restart it.

Thanks to User Vaigl for finding the save game file location for me.

People usually reserve this format for Steam Guides. By the way, while you're at it, do you know how to fix cutscemes on Windows 7?

Buy a PC. The graphic card is always the problem for macs. Its not better or worse then PC or anything. Just PC has millions of different cards and drivers that has to work with windows or the game crashes.

Mac has apple. Apple dont like doing anything for anything other then apple.

You will keep getting minor issues with mac and games that either apple hasnt done, or games thats web-based.

If you want to stop future issues, get a pc. Sorry but for gamers, Win 10 is vastly superior then anything else.

I am a Unix person myself (Linux people can go suck it).
Mac OS is very simular to Unix. Its outstanding for anything other then games :p.
