Can I Be Friends with Everyone?

I know it's not a sound plan, but there are 5 different endings and I'm wondering if there's one that involves allying with all 3 factions.

You can be friends with everyone. However, in the end you still have to chose one plan for final attack out of those that factions suggest to you. So regardless how friendly you are with other factions, the ending involves only one faction, whose agenda you decide to go with.

Also, be aware that in the end game, the factions appear to go to war with each other, triggered by progression, so likely unavoidable. You don't however appear to be penalized (reputation wise) by *not* helping to defend, except for the loss off the haven resource and population. I couldn't keep up with haven defense and just let them destroy each other while preparing for final story missions.

If you pick event options that minimize inter-faction reputation loss (and in few cases even improve it), factions will go to war only few days before you unlock final mission. In my case they didn't even manage to destroy single haven, despite me just fast forwarding to last mission at that point.

There is an ending when you choose no faction and just do your own thing which screws them all (I've seen the ending video but not played it, so don't know if it requires no faction allies or is just a straight choice). That and each faction ending make 4 endings - where did you hear there were 5? Can anyone confirm a fifth ending?

The "All Possibilities" achievement explicitly states you need to get all 5 endings to acquire it. I guessed there was an ending for each faction, and I saw the achievement for doing it the Phoenix way, but there was one other. I was wondering if it might be for getting everyone to work together. I guess not.

My other guess was that there's an ending for losing and everyone dying. I could look it up, but I want to get at least one ending under my belt before I do that.

There are 2 Synedrion endings.

yes you can, i was able to do it, just dont research any faction tech, (so they dont kill each other so fast) and just focus on Phoenix research, and doing main quest and saving havens and doing faction quest.
