Issue with rebinding keys

I live in Belgium and we are one of the few countries to use AZERTY keyboards, so in any game that uses WASD keys for (camera) movement, my first action is to rebind those keys to ZQSD and I like to set A and E to camera rotation for ease of use.

This game, however, refuses to let me remap the Z key to 'camera up'. Even after I remap the original action for the Z key (Floor Focus Up) to another key (which does work), I keep getting the message 'Z key is already reserved for ""!' and it just won't allow me to use the Z key for anything else (same is true for the C key, by the way, but that bothers me less).

This is really annoying... I'd like to avoid using tools like Autohotkey for this, especially since the game has the option to remap keys.

Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution ?

The Bindings.jopt file only has like 61 lines for me so this solution doesn't seem to be working for me.

shift + left alt, maybe?
switches the keyboard in qwerty. Windows may ask you to download US language,
but that's what i'm doing, you just have to remember to shift alt again when you write or leave the game.
