What Happened to Festering Skies????
Did this suddenly not become apart of the Year One Deal? I remember quite clearly (even on Epic Games Store) that Festering Skies was out for both pre order and apart of the Year One deal, I remember this because I was PREVIOUSLY wondering why Living weapon wasn't apart of the year one list.

What Happened???

This is a extremely big cheat, even for you guys. I saw Festering skies as the Third DLC that we'd be getting for Year One Edition which was basically the main reason I bought it. Changing the description directly after launch when you had advertised it as something else for so long is extremely misleading.

I know that it was advertised differently because I first saw YO edition on epic games and thought to wait until it came out on Steam, but it was 100% on the list of Year One DLC that we'd receive.
I debated getting the ultimate edition on Epic because I figured I might want to just have early right to the 2 DLC after Festering sky, but since Festering skies was going to be included in YO I just got YO.

So how do you intend to explain this?

I bought Year One because you advertised Festering Skies as apart of the deal. Misleading buyers is a pretty big deal.

We have never advertised Festering Skies as part of Year One Edition. That is our next intended DLC to be released early next year and is not currently available for pre-purchase.

We're sorry to hear you purchased the game under the guise that Festering Skies would be part of it, and encourage you to seek a refund there.
I don't intend to refund, I enjoy the product you have produced, and perhaps I am completely wrong about his topic. I had just previously came to believe there were other terms to the situation.
I look forward to the future of this product, and the ideas you breath into it.
👍

Festering Skies hasn’t been released yet so it makes sense why it’s not included in one year edition.
That's not the point. The point is that they ADVERTISED IT. and then didn't give the content advertised, and then covering it up by changing the description, which is misleading buyers. Which is called False Advertisement, which can lead to a law suit. Just putting that into perspective.

I understand that it is not technecally "Year One" content, but it's the fact that it was advertised as a product included in the Year One Edition before Launch.
this. but then i stopped following the game when it went to epic. maybe i'll pick the GOTY version when it hit bargain bin pricing.

OP I don't remember seeing Festering Skies listed within the Year One bundle.
It's something I took note of back when the game was announced for steam not to long ago.

This just in: Very first company in history decides not to release content it mentioned in passing. More news at 11.

We get three DLCs for FREE and you're complaining that one they never even set a firm release date for was never released before it hit Steam? I think you need therapy bro. Or maybe some prescription drugs or something. Get over yourself.

This is unrefined aggression in a finished thread. Please refrain from being a silly goose on the internet like a trojan commercial.

Devs and I have already found a good note to leave it on, and you're just here to start a fight when everyone is already done with it.

Might I suggest reading the blue box next time? I already admitted that I could have been completely mistaken. So you're basically spouting smoke for nothing.

Yep but you deleted season pass at Epic store, as i remember was 3 payable DLC and must be 2 more. And converted it to 1 year edition, w/o 2 payeble future DLC in the description. Or for now everyone will get 2 future payeble DLC even if not bought season pass (almost cost as original game)?
It doesn't smell good.

If you're a kickstarter backer and moved here from EGS, you get all current AND future DLC for release. Had this confirmed on their official forums. If you're new to the game as of the move to Steam...enjoy paying for content.
so glad i had some patience and just didnt touch the game after it ended up on epic until i got my steam key got in on backing the game in the first week and went for the early acces big pack got my nickname added ingame and everything yes there has been a lot of back and forth with this game and the situation between the backers and the makers becouse of actualy good busines moves by them but us backers have gotten a lot back from having some good will and waiting only thing missing for me is waiting to get the rest of my free dlcs on steam becouse my pc doesnt like the epic launcher says something about it when the game runs better in the drm free early acess version and going to blue screening becouse of cpu and gpu being unstable with epic store lol but they have even given us what is in fact a second copy for free since its on each launcher so my brother often playes the game on my epic acount while i play on steam

Call me ignorant but how does corona delay making a game ? Are they not allowed to go to the office ?

Plenty of countries have gone into confinement and shut down any non-essential services, only allowing remote work for those. That would still allow development, but not nearly as efficiently as presential work.

from my own experience ( not coding games tho ) homeoffice is cool but only homeoffice has downsides too. developing next to other people developing can speed up things as it's just faster to roll over with a chair than to meet up/ share screens virtually. you are more likely to ask or answer a little question on the fly in an office or at cafeteria or smoking a cigarette etc.

it consumes so much more time if you are stuck at something you would just schedule 1 or 2 hrs in office with a collegue and talk things threw and it is much harder to convey complex algorithms just with chatting on slack or w/e. sure there is lots of gadgets to use but not everyone uses the same etc.

also group meetings imho terrible and a choir online. it always feels like no one knows when to talk. it is much harder to determine when person talking is finished.. whole thing is awkward.
