Suggestion: Ability to have numbered pieces
I'm wondering if it would be possible (and/or of interest!) to have the ability to have a number on the base of 'cutout figure' pieces.

The thinking being, if you have a number of those cutout pieces (ex. enemy soldiers), the number on the base would be a means to identify them (or could be used for random selection using a dice roll).

You COULD (currently) create multiple 'images' for each of those 'enemies', each with a number as part of that image... but that would mean having to create many images, instead of one shared one... and obviously would limit the number of pieces you could (easily) use in the game. Whereas a built in number display on the base (which you could set up the number for, increment (like the multi-state counters, etc) would allow for one image to be used, and would allow you to have multiple (numbered) copies of each of those 'enemies'.

Just a thought...

[UPDATE: Sorry, I just noticed I suggested this long ago... Still something I'd love to see, though...]

You have a couple of options to achieve that: the standard bases can be used with textures, so you can create a few number textures and add them to the figures you want to numerate. You could also add an additional model and apply a number texture to it.
Finally, you could use scripting UI to display a number, that would also allow you to change the number in-game if required. The user interface tutorial shows something similar: https://tabletop-playground.com/knowledge-base/user-interface/
Ya, I'm starting to discover several features/options I wasn't aware of before. Having a great time with this, and am excited on how slick my game could look. I'm also trying to teach myself scripting...
