What is “Core Fighters”?

It is free compared to the base game at $60. Is it supposed to be a demo for the game or something?

this game is free.

core fighters is arcade mode, doa quest, time attack, n online modes. u get access to 4 characters. diego, kasumi, bass, n i forgot the 4th.

u can buy individual characters for ~5 bucks each. story mode is 20.

u can pay 60 to get the full package all together, or get core fighters for free n only pay for the things u want.

if u main the free characters, dont care about the story, n dont want any extra stuff, u can play this game totally for free.

Well that’s good to know seeing as I mainly focus on arcade ladders for Mortal Kombat. And I’d probably do the same for DOA6.

The 4th character in Core Fighters is Hitomi.

Anyway, the standard and deluxe editions are currently 85% off. So, if you like the game that's a pretty good deal for the entire roster (and with deluxe also an extra character and an additional costume for everyone).
