Unable to proceed with ranked in DOA6 Core Fighters PC

I am Unable to proceed with ranked in DOA6 Core Fighters PC
when I go to ranked, it ask to choose character then I select the available free character that is kasumi then I keep clicking on OK (A) to confirm but nothing happens, it sounds like its locked.

is ranked match disabled or not possible in DOA6 Core Fighters PC free version, pls help here?

Ranked online is available for all versions of the game.

After pressing (Y) to select your character, then pressing (X) to confirm the selection, it should take to back to the match making menu where you set the connection preferences, you press (A) to confirm the settings and it should begin searching.

If it doesn't, the only thing I can thing of is that maybe the initial tutorial has to be completed (the one that just shows you the buttons).

Go to the main menu and press (start/menu) button on your gamepad, and that will trigger a short tutorial (it's only about 1 minute long).

I ran the tutorial but it still doesn't allow me to proceed to next window after I choose character by clicking on OK (A)
I will attempt to uninstall and reinstall.
If there is anything else I can do, please suggest?

Just to be sure, you're playing using a game pad correct?

Try looking for lobby matches to confirm you can connect to other players.

Yes, I am using gamepad and I am able to join lobby.
But for ranked, I get option to select character, I select kasumi,, then I keep clicking on A or X,
a sound comes which is similar to selection or confirmation, but then nothing happens, it stays there on that screen and doesn't load next window..
I tried uninstall and reinstall as well.

not sure, what is the problem
since Lobby match is working, but it is not allowing me to enter ranked match
If there would be an option for screenshot or video here, I would show.

From what region are you.

I had the same issue as you. Its gone miraculously. Which led me to purchase the game

This is the most common issue. My friend tried playing and got confused pressing (A) here, as Providence said, it's (X) right after.
But of course if you tried that there could be a under-lining issue, could you upload a video (if possible showing controller inputs) to show us?

equally, double check the buttons on the bottom of the screen (one will say press to confirm). I have my buttons set to type B (i think it's B) so my inputs could vary slightly, though i imagine menu navigation is pretty standard but it's worth double checking.

Its working after second uninstall and reinstall. Not sure, what was the issue though. But it works now.
