game doesn't run on windows 11 24H2....

it was running perfectly on windows 10 then after switching to windows 11 the game doesn't run anymore, the splash screen is a black screen now, does anyone know a fix ?

ok i found a fix :

go graphic settings from windows 11 start menu
turn off "optimization for windowed games"

this worked for me

maybe you have system issues , run the system file cleaner (30 mins), in CMD.

otherwise just reinstall windows using a usb and install your motherboard drivers from your manufactures website.

Hadn't played this in some time until just now (Win 11 23H2) and was having this problem, fortunately this fix worked for me too.

What you might want to do as well is set custom options in Graphics settings and click "Don't use optimizations for windowed games" if, like me, you have Auto HDR (and thus this setting) turned on by default. If you click that box then change the settings, it might look like it's not working when you start the game (when the small box appears, it will be black instead of showing Kasumi's face) but after a few seconds it should load and play normally

eh this game launches just fine for me with windows 11 24h2 while having windows 11's optimizations for windowed games toggled on

well the small startup splash screen is black when launching the game with flip model (windows 11's optimizations for windowed games), but the game still comes up a few seconds after. with flip model off, the splash screen is not black but the game performs worse in borderless...

i don't really mind the black splash screen tbh. though ideally it wouldn't be black...

Yeah, I also went back to play but the game played so slow that is ridiculus. I had 32 gb and a 3050 RTX,a few months ago I played this game super quick, without any problem, now it takes more time to load than Tekken 8! I also update my graphic driver's , uninstalled and installed the game and finally I did your recomendation. I hope we can find more ways to fix this
