dead or alive 6 black screen

before the updating of ver. 1.03b, the game can well performing in my laptop. but after update, when i open the game, i only can see kasumi face and a black screen window. i can hear the background music of the game, but the whole game still in black screen. anybody help ? thanks.

Here's what you can try: navigate to your system set Documents > KoeiTecmo > DOA6 > your steam id > graphic setting (folder) > graphic settings file -> delete the GRAPHICSETTING file

Might help ... as the game will reset its gfx settings and create a new file after you've changed the settings again.

Exact Path its most probably in (win10) example:

C:\Users\Lyan\Documents\KoeiTecmo\DEADORALIVE6\76561198312636014\GRAPHICSSETTING

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 6, find DOA6.exe. Right mouse click - Properties, Tab Compatibility - Disable FullScreen Optimisation (ON). If not - check you antivirus/firewall et.c. - they can block game (suddenly, yes).

Thank you for this! It worked for me too. My problem was surprisingly unusual. It was due to playing on a higher resolution that I no longer have. Went from 4K monitor back to my old 1080p one. At first I tried deleting the graphics settings file that's located in the same directory with the normal save file, but it still didn't fix the black screen. Disabling fullscreen optimization did.
