Pixelated in online only, any fix?
In arcade it plays normally but online I see blur and pixelation like its lowiering the resolution. It might be an attempt to fix people's framerates but I am already at 55+ FPS normally.

Anyone else have this?
any fix? ( other than replacing hardware obviously)

If is really a framerate feature, is waaaay too strict.
Only very expensive high end PCs are spared. My RX570 is not the latest and most pumped up videocard in the market but at 1080p (max res of my monitor) i usually can max everything without framerate issues.

As it should be when you can't maintain 60 FPS in a traditional fighting game.
it's official

- For the PC version of the game, added a feature to alter graphics settings automatically only during online matches to prevent processing delays.

the game will turn down your graphic if it thinks you set it up too high

So if i downgrade it myself i can avoid the ultra downgrade? Disappointing, cause i had no framerate issues, but let's try.

graphics settings didnt appear to change it and I also tried a window smaller than the screen. Something is fishy if this isnt a known issue already, I cant say for sure what.

You definitely did, or it wouldn't be scaling you.

If you're not hitting 60fps solid, you're degrading the game experience.

Perhaps they should go back to async networking, so people with a solid 60fps aren't slowed down by people that don't? At the moment, the game is penalizing people who do ensure they can offer consistent performance, with no real penalty to those who don't.

You definitely did
I didn't. And this is getting ridiculous. So that's how they are gonna fix the issue? downgrading players that don't have the latest and most pumped up videocard, instead of properly patching and optimizing the game. This is a freaking new low.
Another way to kill the PC market for this game. At this point i don't even know why they bothered to make a PC versionj. They should have remained on consoles.

A GTX 1060 is the recommended GPU listed on the shopsite and visible to everybody. I wouldn't describe that GPU as a pumped up GPU at all.

I don't know what rank take an RX570, but i played more than decently with almost maxed out settings the resident evil 2 remake. The new far cry and many other kinda demanding games. If this is not enough they definitely set the bar too high. No excuses. Switched to thumb down in my review of this game. This is pure crap.

You didn't answer my question.

Do you get a locked 60 fps or not?

Your RX570 doesn't meet the recommended GPU requirement as it's about 16% slower than the GTX 1060.

You need stable 60 FPS for traditional fighting games, that's why your resolution gets downgraded as it should be. Pre-patch your GPU did hurt your opponents experience because even a single frame stutter can influence the match outcome.

Yes. Putting aside the stage that used to crash on AMD. Maybe i could have a little drop there.
Still no excuses. This is the consequence of crappy optimization. The game was smooth. And instead to fix their mess they do this? ♥♥♥♥ this crap.

Right, then chill - I'm not getting at >you<, I'm trying to get at the >root cause< :p

If you're honestly hitting 60fps in matches outside of online games, it shouldn't be scaling you. There's no need to scale anyone who's fulfilling the netcode requirements.

Tweet @DOATEC_OFFICIAL and tell them you're being scaled online when you don't think you should be.

Maybe they can look into the optimization process with your data? If there is a problem, they problem aren't aware of it, given how small their testing team is.

my fps down in online in my rx 470
Gaxkang Apr 10, 2019 @ 11:33pm
It's a terrible thing, I haven't seen a fighting game do it before.

Even my humble 750 Ti with the right settings gets a stable framerate at 60.

This sorta thing doesn't fix running into say, Asians online or accepting 5 bar fights that turn into 1 bar when the fight starts.
