You just gave me PTSD from the future
I can't believe people would have problems with microtransactions. Are you saying you prefer these packs they release now with price tags eclipsing the actual frickin' game? I haven't bought any of them for obvious reasons, but did get 3$ costumes of the original DOA5 on console because I liked them. 3$ for a costumes isn't that much, and it's cosmetic so if it's too much, I'm not buying. Simple. In all honesty: the SFV system is fair enough as you can theoretically purchase everything F2P (except me because I ♥♥♥♥ at the game).
The way it is, right now, the game doesn't reward actual playing behavior. Therefore, partly, the online community is marginal. If they want to increase it, they're basically forced to adapt this model anyway.
I believe characters are unlocked as they are released, just not playable (like in DOA). Given the amount of new content, I'd say that's fair too. I think most people agree. SFV was mainly critisized for its bare-bones game modes. It was basically online only on release, which is why many, me included, didn't get it at first.
In the end it all comes down to fair pricing. If DOA5LR is the standard, I fear it'll indeed be 3$ for sunglasses, but if they go back to the original DOA5 DLC, it'll be more fair. But let's hope it doesn't come to that as it's pretty tiring to get your digital wallet ready and confirming for frickin' sunglasses.
I don't see why DOA6 would be different, nor do I see a reason to lock it behind the customization mode.

So, remember how Kasumi made a 5 second cameo in Ninja Gaiden 2? Well, if you throw down that pre-order, you can finally have that costume in game.
And that Honoka costume.

But yeah, I like that Kasumi costume. Also, that costume isn't the "early purchase" bonus. It's the Deluxe Edition Bonus as seen here[teamninja-studio.com]
The new stages look great (Miyabi & Colosseum). But why not remodel some of the old stages? That'd be great. I loved the addition of old music in DOA5. Please continue this trend. I don't mind paying extra for the extra retexturing, but I doubt they will add it as it spawns a bunch of people who want it all for free.
The only thing attracting me to the Deluxe set is the BGM set, and it's probably enough to convince me. Too bad it was free in this game... Does anyone know it's actually new tracks or is it the free one we got with DOA5?
I'm actually surprised, this is the first time I've heard someone talk about wanting the BGM set. I'm not exactly sure what it is, I mean, it's just 3 tracks. What could they be?
Until he makes a statement which boldly contradicts those interviews, denoucing SJW ideas, many people will never see the fanservice costumes the game has to offer.
Breast size is still reduced for no good reason at all beyond pointless virtue signaling.
People are still angry about the bad default costume for Kasumi and Leifang, but those issues aside I think they've done ok at fixing the issue of lack of fanservice.
But your point is still wrong, claiming that they never planned to reduce it at all. Why would they boast so much so often about reducing it, if they were always planning to contradict it all, which conveniently took place instantly after fan backlash? Really think about that.
I can get behind the fact that not everyone likes the same thing but I definitely wouldn't cast Leifang's outfit in the same basket as Kasumi's which is just unequivocally bad.. Also, Leifang's outfit[teamninja-studio.com] has tassels and tassels are cool XD
Hitomi's is bad (in the sense that it's boring) but she's had that outfit before and she is a plain character so it also makes sense
The DOA1 is better in every possible way (except in color theory lol)
It looks too much like a generic "athelete" uniform, no personality or character to it beyond those tassels, which are the only thing that show some personality.
I think there's definitely a resemblance. The Bruce Lee one though... apart from the color, there's nothing. I agree the DOA1 one is better. Here's hoping they just remodel the "vintage" costumes (and you can call it vintage by now after 10? editions of the IP).
As for the Honoka costume... Are we talking about the same costume here? So far we've seen her "traditional" schoolgirl one. There's the (imo pretty awesome) pink-white hoodie. We are talking about this one:

If you call that a wrestling outfit, you don't exactly seem familiar with wrestling, in any shape or form. (though I guess it could be in Rumble Roses :p) The author of the article does seem to agree with you, though he probably played RRXX too at some point.
I'm all for more outfits, but in the end, I mainly use the default ones anyway.
