Played with my Switch Pro controller for the last 3 hours on DOA6. Worked perfectly as expected.
Tempted to try my old ass PS3 fighting stick i got back when SF4 was new.
But unsure if it will work with at one. hmm
then again, the game supports it out of the box so you should be good.
Load up big picture mode and connect your controller, you can set what type of controller it is there. That should fix most of the issues.
If not, then you need to have overwrite settings for the game specifically to force it off. So it doesnt use steam input. using it correctly by having it configured or turning it off should fix it.
I refunded the game which is why it says I don't own it, I'll be repurchasing it once my wallet funds become available. In retrospect I should have figured they would issue a fix for this at least some time, and I don't want to miss out on the preoder stuff.
This is prob a mixup of steam input and xinput though.
fixed it for me
Also if you are using an emulation program for xinput (like ds4windows or xpadder) try to not using it instead use the raw input, steam should do the rest
