Earlier on Twitter I saw a joke about a grappler character that has a super that does nothing but switch the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 and I laughed my ass off.
There's an ultrawide mod for SoulCaliburVI.
It puts more space behind the character.

Wait and see...either they will add it or the community will
Fighting game characters in 16:9 ratio have the same size in ultrawide except that you see more things on 21:9 ratio. And stop watching screens in 21:9 résolutions on your 16:9 monitor since you will not see the same result as people with 21:9 monitor because in ultrawide resolution on a 21:9 monitor we have no horizontal black bar.
Push beyond that in Full Screen & you get Duplicated Screens, even for Stretching Monitors,
& turning 2 Monitors into 1 Monitor, you still get Duplications... ~_~
Wide Screen just causes you to have a Windows Screen appear over your Desktop,
& you see Background while playing, it is sorta Distracting, :(
It seems to be like this for at least from what I have noticed so far, all Fighting Games
of 2019, & i'm starting to wonder if other Games will also be Locked to this as well, ~_~
Jump Force has HDR, but that won't make much of a difference if you can't use 4K Res ~_~
& by the way, even for non-4K, not that I don't want it, but I felt the Graphix
were amazing on Jump Force... I got a Girls long Hair to move like it would in real life,
i've never seen another Game where hair moved like that, o_@
The hair can move over the sholder, it can move behind the head, it can flow like normal,
& you don't need to do anything to make it work that way, oO
It happens as you walk, which I love about the Jump Force Game...
Does DOA have this as well? oO
I have not tested everyone's hair, I only noticed this on Long Hair so far...
I call anybody don't know stage layout to fighting game by now a scrub. Is no competitive edge. LOL
I mean i see what is the problem, but saying "Come On, It's the Current Year" it's not an argument.
