Weeaboo placebo strikes again
I don't know what that means, lol.
ouch
They were never actually changed, they look better because the game isn't ten years old. People were just so scared after they said they wanted to, "Tone it down a bit".
The funny thing is, it was a good idea. They wanted people to take the game seriously instead of seeing it as just hentai with move lists, but the community threw a fit and said, "No! We only want hentai! Who cares about the actual game?! >:(" So they changed their mind and now the collector's edition comes with a body pillow.
You did it bois. No DoA at EVO.
Well the entire franchise was based on it's overt sexuality. It was one of the few games out there that was sexy but also a great game.
...Fighting games "being taken seriously" is kind of goofy isn't it? The stories are short, predictable, and cliche. And it's more about adhering to MODERN Western social pressures and dogma than anything else.
