They made it for a Japanese audience, and far more Japanese men seem to be into that sort of thing than those in the US or Europe. It also seems to be more acceptable (though not entirely acceptable) in Japan. So, it's a cultural difference. But hey, at least anyone who doesn't like them gets to beat them up.

Marie Rose is Swedish and NiCO is Finnish. I always liked Marie Rose in DoA5LR because it's really funny watching this petite girl that acts like a child beat up massive, burly, strong dudes xD. That juxtaposition really makes me laugh

They almost certainly put that in their bios to avoid legal trouble just like hentai always claims that the girls are at least 18 even in the cases when they clearly aren't. Really, it's not at all believable that Nico or Marie Rose is at least 18, and Honoka is pretty questionable. But at least she doesn't look like a little girl.

Its weird that people are getting defensive about the idea that these characters are even in the game they play.

Did you read the documents in the library? It actually confirms that Kasumi and Ayane were 16 from DOA1-4 and that includes both DOAX games.

This is such a strange way to deal with girls that happen to look small. I heard Australia actually banned pornography of women with smaller than average chest sizes as a result if this same mentality. They are legal adults, but they don't fit my idea of a woman, so anybody who likes them must have thought they were a child.

First off... Another one of these topics again? Secondly, how many neckbeards are we going to see come in here and complain about petite women anyway? Marie is 18, lol.

Lastly, you honestly shouldn't even be complaining about Marie as it is. She's trash tier in DOA6, so if you actually manage to lose to one, she deserved it. NiCO is a bit better, but she doesn't look near as petite as Marie does, so I'm not really sure why people keep lumping these two together to begin with.

Anyway, just flag this thread for calling people pedos and move on.
