So you can see by the time you'd buy everything for three individual characters you'd be at the cost it'd be for everything.

It really just comes down to what you want out of it. If you are NEVER, EVER, going to play more than one character, then go the Core Fighters route and pay for that one character and, if you want further, his/her costumes. Otherwise it comes down to whether you just want all the characters or all the characters and all the costumes.
