Will Ein be in this game?

He is in the roster aleady, Davigail. His name is Hayate. However, one F-5 from Bass can make him into your favorite character Ein again. XP

Regardless, Ein's story arc was resolved ages ago and will either be DLC or just not be in at all

Alright, but... here's the thing, It was resolved in DoA2. But he came back in 3, 4 and 5. So that's not really an excuse.

For DoA 6 they've already stated there will be no guests at launch (not applicable here) and also that they're focusing purely on story characters at launch. That's why his arc being resolved is relevant here.

Also, Ein wasn't in DoA 5, he was added 1 year later in DoA 5 Ultimate, (along with guests; Rachel and Momiji (NG), Jacky (VF), Leon (another character who's arc was resolved ages ago) new characters Marie Rose/ Nyotengu (and Phase-4 was made playable for the first time)). So it is highly unlikely he'll make it in the base roster, especially with more relevant characters waiting to be added to the apparent 2 slots remaining in the game. Raidou has more relevance currently, even

I cant wait to see what they have Nico Nico Dance arc and her interest with everyones favorite rapist Raidou. She did make him into the 6 trillion dollar man after all.

Then again it would be funny if DOATEC would have Ein clones as well. Its a great homage to the NESTS arc in KOF. XD

How was he overpowered? He never struck me as a particularly strong character, just average at best.

Well we will know once either the game comes on March or the beta test. Not surprising if they do combine the moves of alpha into phase 4 like what they did with Eliot-Fu!

Ein won't make the roster. There are two slots left and we can safely say that Raidou is one if them. Odds are that the last slot is Momiji.

As as for DLC, you're far more likely to see Leon, Gen Fu, Alpha and Rachel.

Reasoning for this summation is that Eliot has been revealed to now have some of Gen Fu's moves through a stance. I personally think, though, that Gen Fu will still be in the base roster. Kasumi got some Phase-4 moves and Phase-4 is still in the game.

I can't see how Momiji would be needed in the story mode. Gen Fu could at least have a cameo, though
