It's under the question "How Many Characters are in DoA 6?"
Maybe the OP should be sorted into categories though, to help people find stuff quicker? Or maybe the ctrl+f warning is already enough
So someone looking for "who is in the game" or "confirmed characters" will completely miss it.
That section should read "Confirmed Characters (Complete Roster):"
I also re-arranged the questions by popular words, so if someone sees the word "censored" in a question, or "character" in another question, all questions with those words in them will be nearby. It might increase their chance of finding what they're looking for, but probably not.
*made the title less click-bait-sounding, even tho it's not click-bait
Maybe report the thread and ask for a pin request in the report
Ya thats a load of crap that you'd feed to people unfamiliar with texture layering or outline UV texture mapping, the bloody engine doesn't have anything to do with the clothing layers, since many didn't have physics or collision the majority of them shouldn't interrferr with your "PRECIOUS" engine, I hate it when developers make excuses, just tell the damn truth, you want to nickle and dime all the previous DLC to "updated" versions, yeah stay classy Tecmo..
You can read more about the quest mode (and other modes) here[teamninja-studio.com]
Considering this field is my profession, I can confirm that different engines require different approaches to texture layers and material creation.
The new engine in DOA6 is using PBR (physically based rendering) which materials are broken down by properties such as:
This is very different from their old DOA5 engine which used a "reflection base" rendering engine which broke down material properties in a different way:
These differences matter because you can't copy and paste the textures from an old engine to a new one that uses PBR since they don't even use the texture's color and alpha information for same thing.
Basically all the textures have to be re-authored, or re-purposed to suit PBR, that's not even mentioning the fact that they have to be up-scaled to be higher resolution than before.
Any questions?
"PlayStation 4 Pro enables 1080p resolution maintaining the processing speed, and the quality of stages and effects will be higher than on the base PS4. On the other hand, Xbox One X will reach a maximum resolution of 4K which is different from the base Xbox One.
It’s impossible to maintain 60fps at all times with 4K resolution, but you’ll enjoy beautiful graphics. There are some options to prioritize graphics or action so you can choose which one you prefer.
The game is not compatible with HDR on PC. That being said, Xbox One X is the only platform that allows you to enjoy HDR with this game."
