Apparently, Paris Games Week runs until Tuesday this week (30th) just fyi...
And I think they didn't announce 2B realease date to keep people looking at SC VI this week.
I'm sure both Namco Bandai and TN know they are fighting for a main slot in next EVO because ASW games, Tekken 7 and Smash Ultimate are guaranteed to be there.
The thing is they said she will be released "really soon" so before and some weeks after her release she will be taking centre stage.
I think they should have been released Christie trailer the same day they showed it at Paris.
You're simply not here when were discussing the hype for the game, you missed all the excitement for Tina, Bass, and Mila
There was character speculation for a long time here after that on the forums.
Every new interview that pops up, we discuss it at length.
Your reacting to a small handful of negative comments mixed with hype, and you think that this forum only reacts to controversy. You're just not active enough here to know what you're talking about.
I'm staunchly against a customization mode for DOA, it would be the worst thing they could add.
I think when producers talk about being or not being e-sports it's something a bit ambiguous to determine what they fully mean since everyone would want their game being at a major event like EVO. In fact SC VI is already being played in several tournaments like ECT and Fighting Tuesday so I'm pretty sure Okubo and Bandai Namco want SC VI being as popular as it can be.
About Reversal Edge, I think it is "ok" because at least every character has a "best situation" input so you can guess what they will want to do, so even if they don't go with their best input for their character and they win the rock-paper-scissors battle, they won't inflict as much damage as they would inflict in their best case input scenario.
But for me the key is Soul Charge. Returning from SC III and better than ever its reminds me to Overdrive in BlazBlue, giving unique tools to each character and being really critical to control neutral game thanks to its push back.
hmm for me the outfits i associate with christie the most are this 2
(+i hope they will be in doa6 as well):
her doa4 cinematic outfit:

(really liked watching the cinematics in doa !!)
and her doa3 main outfit (also the one that doa3/xbox got advertised in tv in my country, when i remember it right):

wonder when we can finally see the trailer ..
Limit color palettes to colors that the characters would actually wear.
Basically, I want it so limited that it barely even functions.
xD lmao, so basically might as well not even have it. If there was a party mode or a "D*@k off Mode" where crazy stupid edits were enabled but you had to make a specific lobby for it and everyone had to agree to see it, then I'd be okay with it. Oooooooor maybe make it easier and just have a "Do u want to see custom stuff" toggle.
I agree, I dont usually do anything too ridicilous with creation mode, but I like extra parts for customization. Sure, you can make genitals, but you can also make something like Hellboy or your own creation with those extra parts. Take away those parts and its only dress up. Considering those Ivy's and Voldo's SM outfits there are more thought than in usual fanservice behind them.
However I also hace committed horrible sin with SCVI character creator, I thought my character creator roster look more like adult movie audition that fighting game roster, so I...I...clothed some of my skimpy geared female characters.
Is it just me or is there way more negativity going on in SCVI Steam forum? I can understand why many people hate character creation because some seem to exploit it in ranked and such, but I am bit suprised how many hate new character 2B.
