Failed to save/load data (Error Code: 1)

Hello guys, right now I have a big problem as I cannot go any further than just opening the game. The game says that "Failed to load data Error Code: 1" or something and when it asks me if I want to create a new save, it says that I cannot save the game Error Code: 1 too. I try both uninstall and verify the file but it does not work. I don't know what to do anymore. Can someone help me please T T

make sure that there is nothing blocking the game from accessing its own files/folders, such as antivirus, antimalware, antirandomware, anti-etc

I found out that if I turn off the windows antivirus, I can load the save. However, when I turn it on, the "Error Code: 1" happens again so this means that i have to turn it off whenever I play the game, am i right?

you can just add DOA6.exe to the exclusion list or whatever so the game can access its files and folders properly

well, if you don't know how to do that then just turn if off xD

I try adding DOA6.exe to the exclusion like what you said but the Error Code: 1 still happens. sighhh It looks like I have to turn it off for real. - -*

PS. Ok, I found that my computer has blocked DOA6.exe and when I allowed it, the game works just fine again! Thank you so much for giving all the advices!

Go to Windows defender, it should be there somewhere if I'm not mistaken.
