You get all gamemodes (storyline, arcade, survival, online, etc. etc.)
You get all the costumes available to unlock through gameplay aside from any of the DLC outfits (the deluxe DLC outfits, wedding, pirate, swimsuit, summer dresses), but there's still a good amount of outfits in the base game.
You pretty much just get everything you'd need to experience the full game. There was an early-purchase bonus where you could get the deluxe DLC outfits, but that's not active anymore, so if you saw any information about that floating around, that's not longer accurate.
Am I missing anything, pplz?
Characters in the Standard Edtion are:

For some reason the boys seem to get swimsuits from this DLC. Like Bayman, Brad, and Eliot, etc.
nyotengu (character) is NOT included in any package/edition/bundle afaik
Phase-4 is bundled in Deluxe though
