Yeah freezers sure help if player ever gets to the shop and those bodies won't help at all if player loses the body during a room fight. It might be just my opinion tho but I would highly prefer to have some kind of base body in every area to give player a fighting chance. Of course this might speed up the progression but at least it wouldn't feel like it's as hard gated as it is now.
And reading this it turns out you can't snatch people at all when you enter a new zone? Seriously? So glad I read this before my refund window closed.
PS. And what genius came up with the idea of non-rebindable effing "Enter" button to confirm things? Why can't we just use E?
But yeah, the Twins feel more like a mid-game or late-game boss, not something to indocrinate new players.
I love the game's concept, and think it's truly unique. But I just don't see the point of designing the early levels to tick off and frustrate new players like this. And in the end just keep replaying the same levels in the demo over and over.
Heck, just ONE of the Twins tanks would be a good first boss enemy imho.
But there are many ways to simplify the run you're playing.
There are many items and skills to use, there are the "freezers" to store host bodies, there are upgrades to make both the Parasite and the host body stronger.
The game offers different strategies to beat it, you have only to find which is the best for you. :D
Have fun,

we've just implemented a new gameplay mode for the game: the Wrong Millennium mode.
Essentially there's no need to unlock characters, they're all available from the start.
If you don't like the unlocking mechanic at all, just give it a try.
Best,

Hey hellem, one of the cool things in this game is that there's always more than a strategy to handle various situations (bosses included), and you have to find the right combination of host body, skills, items, etc.
If you find the bosses too difficult, we can share a hint or two!

I made a 100% guide, if your slightly stuck with hyper parasite.
