I saw a friend playing this on stream. The fire was full of fuel, at like 90/100, but all camp options seemed to lower the body temp, since things like hunting presumably involve leaving the camp (in a non-interactive way). Even the description of sleep said that would lower the body temp as well. Is there any way to idle in the camp and warm up next to the fire? What are we missing?...

I got the stuff to send an SOS Sent it about day 50 By day 55 I'd not been rescued so I went again to check and did the SOS again. An image of the axe appears on the 'Upgrade Items' screen, even before you find it. I thought that maybe you needed the axe to upgrade things, but I maxed out my bow before I even found the axe in my most recent game. You can also upgrade the axe itself, but what exactly does this do?...
