Are you looking for a bugged, unoptimzed triple C shooter with dumb A.I. and dated graphics? Look no further, The Royal Marines Commando will make your dreams come true! You're basically running from point A to B, shooting Nazis on your way and planting explosives on some targets for around 2 hours, while being accompanied by one or two companions that are either clearing the way for you or standing in your way. Nothing too fancy but not too shabby either if you don't take it seriously. Not worth the 5 bucks they ask for on Steam, but at 80% off you get your bang for the buck. I sincerely hope City Interactive digs out more of their classic triple C shooters, my wallet is ready to buy them all.

powerful statement

A short but enjoyable WW2 shooter. It may not be a classic and has aged considerably, but it was still fun. If you see it on sale and have a couple hours spare, its not long, give it a shot.

Got it for 4.99, paid to much. Most of the time I just sat back and let the two computer controled characters of my squad go because they would kill everyone. There are good ww2 games, okay ww2 games, bad ww2 games and then there is this one. Pass on it. Done in 2hrs.

better than cod Vanguard xD

I attempted to play the game and immediately liked the nostalgia element of playing old-looking WW2 games.

However, it appears that CI Games has turned off the 'saving' function. I noticed when I died in-game I could not re-spawn and would have to restart the mission. In addition, I finished Mission One and the game did not load Mission Two. I exited to desktop and re-launched the game, and was forced to re-start the campaign. I have uninstalled it since.

I do not recommend this game.

-Bad explosion and no destructible environment;
-You run soooooooooo slow;
-Bad UI;
-Too linear and too repetitive;
-Bad enemy AI;
-Bad AI of allies (they like to block you, shoot badly or just stand near by them);
-Too short;
-No animations on faces (wooden expressions). They can only open their mouth and nothing more;
-Horrible level design (Absolutely dead world and there's nothing interesting to explore);
-Meshes are not proportional (decorations are too big; Hands for humans unnaturully big);
-Scenario is bad;
-Annoying invisible walls;
-No secret items;
-Cutscenes. You can't skip them all;
-Waypoint sometimes confuses you;
-Bugs;
-You can't shoot friendly units and they can't be killed by your enemies (only if it's not scripted);

Pros:
+You can save whenever you want;
+You can finish the silent mission without beign silent and the game will not make you start playing this mission again;
+You can lean;
+Germans and Italians speak in their native language with each other;
+No censorship (swastika);

If you like WW2, you'll love this game. It works 100% on Windows 10 and it is widescreen supported.

Much better game design than "Operation Thunderstorm". There is a cut scene if you successfully save the Hostage in Operation Magistrate mission. There are 6 missions in total. The Stealth Mission is amazing, you can reload checkpoint/save if you get caught , there is actually stealth in this game. Playing the highest difficulty is a joke, your AI teammate are also on hard and do everything for you, but you can get double kill with rifle or shotgun when enemy is behind each other. This game has so much more potential. The game is too dark sometimes, but the dark corners actually work for stealth hiding(there is flashlight option). The game lacks some graphic settings compare to Operation Thunderstorm.

I bought this one discount for $1. If it had more levels and possible a co-op. Will definitely be worth more.

SUGGESTION TO CI INTERACTIVE.
I feel like this game should've had co-op mode because your always with an AI teammate. Hope CI interactive will respond. Would be nice if CI take this game, remaster it. Extend the levels or even slap all the Battlestrike WW2 FPS into one game as remaster with steam achievements. Maybe add co-op mode in it. Make sure there are more properly designed stealth mission like this game. The stealth in operation thunderstorm though failed horribly.

This games makes me miss the $9.99 budget title rack and Staples and Office Depot.
