How to get the 3rd Ending?

So after beating the game, you get a chapter select and it shows a list of endings you would've gotten. Mine shows two, leaving only 1 ending not being viewed.
Does anyone know the requirements to getting it?

I'm still playing but this guide appears to help at least with the trophies. If I find anything from play experiennce I will let you know

Just finished it myself and I got True Evil and The Nightmare Continues so I think the third end correlates with getting The Nightmare Ends cheevo by correctly having all the flags for the final showdown.

I am playing this game on the Switch and have completed the final chapter multiple times. During the finalshowdown with Leo, are there any possible outcomes besides success or failure? After getting an ending where there was no Leo encounter, I followed this guide, using both permutations it mentioned. I just want to confirm whether that is all or if there is anything else to be seen. In both cases, Leo gave Saburo the envelope, however, he was not willing to admit the deed or explain his motives.

On the list of story achievements/unlocks, two of the three are filled out, while the third one shows ?????

The ending you're missing is where he confesses. You need to make sure your save file has all the mastermind flags filled in and then you give the correct answers at the final showdown and he should break down and confess.

After a long pause, I resumed trying to finish up the loose ends in this game yesterday. My file has four flags for Abbie, one for Chapter 3, and five for the final chapter. I am going to try doing the sparks of romance choices, redo chapter 3, and go through the late part of the game again to see whether any of that will change what happens with Leo at the end.
