How bad is sequence-breaking into a Golden Gate puzzle can be?

In South 3 it is possible to smuggle teleporter and 2 boxes out of S3-3 "Dismantle" (ironic) and then use one of the boxes to climb onto and drop right on top of the altar of the Gate puzzle. Am i going to brick my save by activating it, or are they just inactive until the Gate is open?

Nah you can cheese a lot of puzzles like this, and it will have no negative consequences. Barriers will open when you activate the altar. Just backup your save if you want to be sure.

Or just don't do it if you want to solve the puzzles instead of skipping them.

You can reset them at the "skip puzzle" thingy on the wall I believe? I never used it but it has been said.

Yeah, I've heard so, too. But then why would you skip it just to go back and do it properly?

Actually gave it a try - the altar and Prometheus hand plate were unresponsive, even after solving the puzzle.
Minor skip at best, i guess

I think they need to be activated by a trigger that you touch at the gate. That's how all the puzzle devices work.

It certainly is possible to cheese normal puzzles like this, people have done it. But, if you haven't opened the Gold puzzles yet, I guess that might be the trigger that's needed to activate those.

You need to trigger the puzzle via the "pink" fields.
Im not sure if you can do that from inside the closed doors, depends how tight it is..

It does work, IFFFFF you have the golden gates opened.

The Purple field is not what triggers the puzzles on/off it's your presence inside of it, as long as the golden gate is opened.

I tested this method OP described and it works.

Thought I should post just to give this thread a conclusion. ^^

Imposible to complete this puzzle if use externe device,
ex: box and connector.
I have pass tree nithes to look the boxe in the south-3
The box not available in the region s-3
i have skip this puzzle.
