You could be right though I swear I did a lost puzzle in E1 and followed the sprite to the golden gate and one light was lit up, this was before I'd gotten either star there...
Yes I think that's right actually, I just know they aren't to do with the stars! Thanks for correcting me on that!
The gold gate in the center of the map / megastructure area is different and seems to instead require completing all the gold puzzles in the individual areas.
I just got into the megastructure for my first time so this is cool to know. I completely blanked on the stars and I assume *those* are for the astronomical temple, so knowing there's a master golden gate area later is cool. Man, I'm loving this game so much. I'm sorry for the folks who wanted it to be just another puzzle game only but I'm really enjoying the whole 'tp1 baked into an rpg' thing we have going on here.
