the game is already on ps4 so i assume the issue is the touch pad?

Thanks for the direct and honest answer. In that case, I don't have to wait for the release, as controller support is the breaking point for me. But don't rush it, getting the game itself smooth and ready is more important. Guess I will randomly look for updates on the controller support until then.

i think they need to figure out how to re map the touch pad controls to something else.

You used to be able to use a PS4 contoller with ease
The only difference between PC and PS4 is you had to actually press the touchpad after using it for whatever

Controller support became busted when Steam was released

Frankly, I find this absurd since (during the partner program) we were told ahead of time of updates. It would've been great if we were allowed to playtest the Steam build before it was released so the team could adjust some things. There's a decent number of players, myself included, who played this with a controller on PC.
