So i suggest following...
Keep playing veteran matches, even if u loose.
Buy Battle Bonus before each match, its paying out usually xp wise.
Try to fight equal tiers, to have a better chance for a kill.
Take a look at the ribbons, they reward you with alot better score.
Playing a Healer is the fastest way to earn xp and credits (play 'Team Deatchmatch)
Try to get contact to a group and play together, u will win matches more likely with teamplay.
Question regarding the tactical ships for healing, though...
While it is certainly good exp, it's only for the ship using it, right? If I want to level the Fulgora, I have to use the Fulgora, not true?
Always a challenge leveling up the Fulgora and Medusa. There's a guide on the Greybox forums called Spork's Guide to the Fulgora and Medusa that might offer some insights and ideas on how to play the Fulgora. Imho, some aspects the T3 Fulgora are somewhat superior to the T4 Medusa--even without OB's and fully moduled. One of the main highlights of the Oberon Corvette is the 360 degree firing arc. Extremely useful when orbiting around 2km and leading a target with it's primary gun and secondary plasma turrets.
There have been some balance changes to shield absorption rate in the last update (see patch notes) but for the most part corvette shielding is still pretty good at the cost of energy depletion.
Microstar has some good points about Veteran matches. With the Battle Bonus active, teaming up with other premium members and ribbon awards should net you quite the haul not to mention the First Win of The Day--outside of the Proving Grounds. There is a small trade off with buying BB's as the credit rewards get offset slightly. Bassically, you don't gain as fast with credits to xp--but still worth the trade off at the Veteran level.
