Launcher need a "server status" icon

Installed the game this morning, registered for another 3rd party acct and was let down as i could not log in, had no idea why just got login state failed. Is the only way to check the forum/discord to see if servers are up for this game? Also i should be able to change my vidoe setting via the launcher, why not this, why is there a launcher in the first case?

We're currently wrapping up maintenance and should be back up soon. We pushed a fix to correct the 401 issue people have experienced recently. I'd recommend checking out the pinned topics in the general steam forums, or following our Twitter accounts. This launcher and UI is still incredibly new, so we appreciate the feedback. We're most certainlly planning on providing something to inform players when there's downtime in real time. A launcher is required for a lot of our backend data and technicalities, it existed pre-Steam, so it still exists. We've made changes to it to make it better, but plan on doing much more. We appreciate the feedback, patience, and support.
