Process returned unknown error code

Hi all. i get this messege every time i try to start Dreanought. (Process returned unknown error code)

Steps i did take:
1. Change language from German to English (because last time i played i did set it to german)
2. let Steam Validate the installation.
3. Uninstall
4. Install

Still the same even the Path was changed where it was installed.

I Hope someone can help.

Hello. I try returned to game after year vacation and collided with this problem.
I uninstal old client and instal Steam version. After every launch from steam i get this message ( process returned unknown error code).
please help

ok mine was not working , try after try, then i went into my steam folder for the game installation, found easy anti cheat setup. told it to reinstall for dreadnaught , and poof im in. hope it helps

Pulling the same thing on me for days and days. I've tried redoing the anti cheat, I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reloacated, and still blocked up.

there are some things to try.
remove Writeprotection. try reinstall easy cheat after.
start the game as Administrator.
none of us is a Gamesupport!

Just returned to the game. Tried all the above recommended actions, no help on any of them. Launch and get the same error "Process returned unknown error code". Oct 6 , 2020
