I also had this happen to me with Jalandhara. I warped out during his fight and when i came back the pillar was down again, he was gone, and the life seal was still activated, making it impossible to get back in.
Here are some other bugs I found:

Occasionally the game would lock to 90 fps instead of 60, which made the game run very fast since physics are tied to the fps. It happened when I loaded a new area the two times it happened to me, once when warping to the surface and another when entering a corridor of blood. I had to restart the game to fix it.

When using Enga Musica, sometimes when you leave the music menu the normal stage music will double up, playing the same song twice at once. To fix this I just had to reload the music by entering another area that had different music (using the music app to change the music did not fix it). I'm not sure what causes this, since I tried to recreate it and couldn't find a way to make it happen consistently.

I don't have a list of all of the issues I found, but there are a lot of issues with the translation script, particularly in the ruins guide. The guide has tons of issues, like typos, kerning issues, and strange inconsistencies - Takamagahara Shrine is called Pit to Heaven in the guide, for instance. The English script is inconsistent all around. The Flail whip is called the Steel Ball Whip by Fobos, but in the menu it's listed as the Flail Whip. There is also some inconsistency with the use of "sigil" versus "seal". And, as many people have said, the third anubis riddle is missing a key part from the Japanese script that tells you the location you need to solve the riddle in.

Are you referring to something in-game? The manual? something else?

I think this comes from the fact that the room in Immortal Battlefield you enter Takamagahara from is called "Pit to Heaven." Regardless, it needs to be fixed

In Nibiru, you can't (jump) boost yourself on the horizontal axis, like you can in the vertical axis.
I also think that those controls could be made a bit more realistic over all, like only being able to boost in any direction when you are touching something.

Seem to be stuck in Nibiru when I go up there. I can't stand on any platform there which means I can't stand to take the elevator back down.

Which right now is a good thing since the crab boss could use some tweaks on hitboxes and amount of stuff it shoots.

Also Chakrams randomly disappear, sometimes you shoot them and don't come back, sometimes they disappear when hitting something on the way back. Sometimes they don't, even against the same exact enemy. This makes them much worse than in the first game.
We already know about these and they are being looked into.

EDIT: To anyone experiencing this issue: This game makes a folder in **appData**. Kill this folder also when reinstalling; Uninstall via Steam does not remove it.

This folder has your save file. **Back this up**. Here's what the readme says:

Nothing I do works, including installing the game on both a Windows and Mac OS. I've tried everything I can think of and even what GOG customer service told me but I cannot get the game to launch. The nigoro logo plays and then it just loads into the same black screen.

I deleted the folder that you said but it did not help at all.
I have reported this to Nigoro.

Can you try deleting your config files by the way:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\NIGORO\LaMulana2\Config

then verify your files via Steam.

I can confirm that this fixed my freeze at the intro. Just copy your save file and delete the game then reinstall while putting back the save in the newly created folder

2. Go through gate in Fallandaforad. Emerge in Water Carrier's Room, lower right door. Neither gate closes at this time. Lose Claws.
3. Dash past crushers, and take the gate in Blikjandabol. Emerge in Ne-no-Katatsukuni. Lose Gale Fibula.
4. Don Claydoll Suit, go past swirling flames in Naraku and enter the gate. Emerge in the Chamber of Spikes. Lose Claydoll Suit.
5. Go through gate in Road of Destruction. Emerge in Fallandaforad. At this time, both the gate in Fallandaforad and the lower-right door in the Water Carrier's Room close. Lose Feather.

From this point onward the route is identical to the intended solution, so I'll skip it.

In the same situation. Locked out of a 15 hour save. Can't talk to Frey means - unable to spawn ankh and ****spoiler ahead**** the entrance to the Endless Corridor is never cleared.

In addition the chest at the top cracks open. However, using the Grail after pressing the right button breaks the triggers for the room. This allows players to wait for the spikes to fall and then fight Daji without a timer.

When considering the above issue, and the current known softlock issues with opening the chest via remote means (Flares / Weapon Fairy), the following proposed solution would likely fix these behaviours.

Add a new button in the center of the room. This button will cause Daji to spawn and make the spikes decend. This button will NOT open the chest. Keep the rightmost button where it is, but have the wall that blocks it always be there while Daji is undefeated. This rightmost button opens the chest. If the player warps out of the room before the rightmost button is pressed, the center button should reappear on revisit to the room. This should keep the intended timed boss behaviour and solve the despawning Daji issue in one go. This also has the nice effect of forcing the player reach the right side even after Daji dies, so the spikes remain a hazard until you are clear of them (Which is likely why the chest is not tied to Daji's death in the first place).
This will be fixed in the next update.

Probably not a bug, but using the lamp of time and getting to Frey before the Jotunn actually kill him doesn't affect what whether he dies or not. I realize his death is scripted and has to do with the mythology of Ragnarok, but it'd be interesting if something special happened. Like dropping a falling rock near him, potentially on players who attempt this

Also, during the escape you open a Yggdrasil door with a weight, but can't go through it. I assume it leads to the beginning of the area, where there is another door that opens, but doesn't let me through.

I tried scanning it as I fell, and fell off the screen in question when i attempted the scan, not getting the mantra added to my list. When I tried again, nothing. Frankly it sounds like whatever logic check is being used for adding a mantra to the list needs a serious look.

I admit, I don't know Unity, but I do know a bit of coding and logic checks, and it seems to be the most sensible logic check for Mantra additions would be to run a check to first see if the player has Mantra EXE. If they do, then run the next check, which is whether or not the Mantra is on their acquired list. If it isn't, then add it.

As it stands, it seems whatever flag is used for this triggers on scan, whether or not you actually *get* the mantra, locking you out of getting it if you didn't get the mantra on your initial scan.
This is currently being looked into.

If you look at the screenshot closely you can see the software screen visible under the item screen. Moving my cursor anywhere on the item screen initiated the scrolling animation, but it would lock right back to the first item after the animation finished. Same goes for trying to change pages.

Nothing I did let me close the software screen, so this softlocked my game. Sorry if it's been reported already, I did a little searching and nothing like this came up.

It's like the "landing on the ground" sound starts playing and then never stops while you're on the ground.

Corroborating what's been said above, SFX don't die if you pause, leading to awful screeching being repeated until you unpause or finally decide to warp.

Thrown bombs can pop through wall seams, effectively wasting them. By wall seam, I mean places where the wall is noticeably discontiguous, or where Lumisa is near both a wall and ceiling.

Attempting to bind controller keys with no controller connected softlocks the menu; only way out is to lose and reopen the game.

The bumpers for switching to the Xelputter/Holy Grail menus in pause and the ones that scroll between App Menus do not have keybindings, or they are not correctly associated with main weapon/subweapon scrolling. This means that rebinding to WASD does not work for these menus, since A and S still scroll the menus.

Once you're on the surface, it doesn't count as escaping, the Holy Grail works again and Xelpud's castle is not destroyed.

...and they glitch out when you kill them, sometimes, freezing in place. ...and sometimes they respawn still frozen in place.

I'll try to describe better. I assume that you know the screen I'm taking about. The puzzle is that you're supposed to stack two blocks on top of eachother - one sticking out halfway from a ledge, while you push the top one down on top of the bottom block, and this will allow you to push open a oneway door to get the axe.
Well, I put the bottom block into position, sticking out halfway out from the ledge, but I don't think that I pushed it far enough (although it looked fine). ...so when I go to push the top block down on top of it, it falls down and knocks the bottom block back in again, and continues to fall to the bottom (ground), as if the bottom hadn't even been there. All that's now jutting out of the bottom block, is 1-2 lines of its left side.
...but I could still stand on that tiny ledge, and although I was only standing on the bottom block, one row DOWN from where I was supposed to stand (to push open the door) I could still just push open the door just fine, and get the axe without really solving the puzzle correctly, since the top block wasn't needed.

Again I assume that you know where you meet the griffin boss, and what the puzzle below that looks like. If you push the statue there all the way into its socket, then you have solved the puzzle incorrectly. If you do that, and then leave the screen, and come back, the puzzle resets, but it resets right before your eyes, popping back into place after you've entered the screen.
