Anyone else map blank?

My Atlas map and my in game map (m) are both blank. See nothing on Atlas map and (m) in game map only shows ships and power stones, nothing else. Anyone else having this same issue?

(Unless its a bug..?) I believe more of the map will show once you have "discovered" or traversed to different places, etc ! At least that's how it's for me ^^"

if you are on an unofficial server, they are working on that bug, if not, report it at the main forums for more visibility!

Yeah, we're unoffical. It got sorted but with no help from the sever provider. Told my buddy it wasn't thier problem and he needed to contact Atlas Devs. Good thing he has like 6k hrs on ARK and has had ARK servers for yrs, he figured out how to fix it though it took him all day and had to make a new character to get it fixed.

we have unnoficial server our host added a map fix and it works great now. They just added a map fix to the control panel and it got treasure maps and maps working.

we use https://low.ms and they added a fix for atlas on the server we have that makes the maps work. they give 20 seats for 15 a month which isn't bad. I really like how they have the server setup for steam updates / mods for future etc. every time atlas has update they make it easy to update via steamCMD. etc. We have a conan server with em as well really happy with the service. They also made their own custom 1x1 2x2 and 3x3 maps with 4 freeport islands and 10 islands on the 1x1 with toggle to turn off level restrictions if your on one region. Our group really happy, treasure hunting and maps work etc. I just updated to server v10.79 as of this reply for our private server.

I run a private self hosted linux server with the blank map issue. I found this error in the atlasmanager.log file:

2019-02-08 00:06:57: [main] Inconsistent casing in map name - Ocean.atlas does not exist, but ocean.atlas does

went into the etc-atlasmanager directory, in the atlasmanger.cfg file chnage:

serverMap="Ocean"
to
serverMap="ocean"

and restarted the server. problem solved. The issue can be the same case mismatch exist in the start batch files. I hope this helps.

Map issues are usually cause the Jpegs are not copied over. The map is streamed to the clients via server ;)

I had to get a new hard drive and now my treasure maps and Atlas map are blank. I play on official pve server. It doesn't look like the map files downloaded when I installed. I don't know what to do. I have reinstalled a couple of times.

Just verify files don't reinstall. Also delete the files is your shootergame/saved folder locally. Make backups first just in case.

That didn't work. I even went after and deleted the whole save file and nothing. It did reinstall the game again but nothing.

Ok fixed the problem. But I had to connect my other drive and get the save file from there. I just deleted my save file on my new drive and copy paste the save file from the other drive. On the bright side, I got all of my uncovered areas back. I don't know what would happen if someone lost their drive entirely.
