ATLAS is an ARK DLC marketed as a new game

Came across this review in the Store page:

If you look in the games install folder, there are folders literally called ScorchedEarth and Abberation just reusing assets from Ark. And on top of that, if you have a controller plugged in, scroll down to the bottom of the options on the main menu. If you scroll down 1 more past that, there's another invisible menu option. Hit A or X or whatever on your controller, and it opens up THE ARK MENU. It even shows options to choose which Ark DLC you want to play, edit map options, etc. The best part is that under that option, you can see the choices for all of the types of Ark worlds, and theres one addition to that list! Ocean. That's right, this game was built as a DLC of Ark. It functions through Ark's menus, and in that menu it is classified just like Ark's released DLCs.

That's just bs. Shall a company reinvent bolts and nuts all the time? Reusing is intelligent, economic, common. And obviously it has nothing to do with the story of ark. Sure it uses ARK as a framework, so what? Also Assassins Creed and Far Cry share code, as well as every Battlefield, Fifa, etc.

Yeah, IF this actually was a $25 DLC I would be fine too, but it's not. It's a 25 (until january) 30 and at last 60 dollars DLC marketed as a standalone game.

Why?

Because we already bought the season passes for ARK, so they decided to present this title as a 'new game', bypassing those season passes WE BOUGHT FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE

It's a scam, they're making fun of us.

its not like theyre charging 60$ for it, its the price of a dlc so even if it is just ark reskin whats the issue with that? the game needs alot of work still but im sure itll get there.. like some one mentioned before alot of developers reuse things from their proior project.. why fix something thats not broken ?!? and after yesterday the communication with the devs has been superb, hopefully they keep that up
