I had a funny feeling about the economy in the game and did a quick check. 1 million yen is only about 8 thousand american dollars. No wonder every item priced is in the hundreds to thousands of yen. Even in Yakuza 0, with Kiryu owning almost all the businesses he could and raking in billions, I didn't feel rich.
