No sound in the opening cinematic???

Yeah, I noticed this strangeness myself, in fact when I was in the menus, me shuffling through the options menu didn't make any sound either.

I had to restart the game for it to start working, though, so maybe it needs a restart.

I had this too. Turning this game for the second time fixed it for me.

i have the same problem, so i restart steam and start yakuza again, then the problem fixed

Yeah, restarting the game solves this issue.

Sadly, the intro music is not as good nor bad ass as the one of Yakuza 0. The cutscene itself is quite intense though.

verify your game files too if you just finished installing i missed another 253 MB from the pre-load and install. Always do this for all games, verify right after install finishes.
