Thank you.

Huh. I'll give this a go.

How different is it though from the Japanese release, with the release we've got here? I mean... The soundtrack thus far feels less inspiring while I am playing it, will this patch restore some more inspiring kick-ass soundtracks, like we had in Yakuza 0?

It just restores 2 vocal songs used at various points throughout the game by the Japanese singer Koshi Inaba, so not quite.

You might however find what you're looking for in the currently (still) uploading Classic Music Mod which restores music from the PS2 original which is substantially better than Kiwami's wubwub remixes.

You're doing God's work my man, great mod.

I installed the mod and it works perfectly however i seem to recall you mentioning a while ago that the intro with the song BLEED will play after the Recieve you one that was DLC for Kiwami. BLEED didnt play for me only Recieve you so i wonder if it did something wrong or what.

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out. had to rename the ad.alt file for BLEED. Thanks

You did nothing wrong, for whatever reason the PC port removed the trigger for the second intro entirely, so we can't have both of them at once.
On PS4 that trigger was disabled in the Western version, but not removed entirely, allowing us to re-enable it and have both of them at once, sadly this is not possible here.
This came as just as much of a surprise to us since we didn't expect this to happen.
Being forced to use only one of them, we decided to go with the Receive You Reborn one as it is more thematically fitting for the game.
If you'd rather have the BLEED intro, you can go to your Yakuza Kiwami\media\data\movie_w64_e\ folder and rename "ad.usm" to something else, for example "ad.backup" and then rename "ad.alt" to "ad.usm".

Thanks alot for the info and the mod. Really bizzare the PC port removed that ability.

There are A LOT of issues with the PC port unfortunately, including completely broken FOV, missing special weapon visual effects, sound issues and whatnot.
Those issues extend to Y0 port as well.

Ah, I see.

Will you keep us updated on the process of uploading for the Classic Music Mod? Need to rock out to some proper tracks when kicking ass after all.

Quite literally less than 10 minutes according to Google Drive.

I am eagerly awaiting the Classic Music patch. Is it still planned to come with the Licensed Music patch in it as well?

Curiously, if you switch the game to japanese in the steam options. The opening will switch to BLEED only.

Is it possible to run the classic music mod and licensed music mod at the same time?

Edit: Never mind, found that the classic music mod already includes the licensed music.
