100% completion, some thoughts

Hello everyone, I'm continuing my quest to 100% all yakuza games, finally got done with Kiwami so i wanted to share some of my thoughts.
Having done 0 before this (not immediately, but still) this one was way easier to do, the requirements are less grindy and less RNG dependent, its also shorter so that does contribute.
The biggest roadblocks for me were definitely expert rotation pool, getting 100 weapons and the truck segment on legend...
Im no pool expert so it took hours of attempts and some luck to do, I did do the paper trick and that helped, but still it's not flawless and the CPU literally calculates 4 perfect turns in advance, that's kinda BS.
For the weapons, the lack of an easy money grinding method was the biggest pain, I grinded the Colosseum until i could redeem all rewards from it and with the money there bought from all the shops and in between buying and selling back you're left with 3 missing, one can thankfully be the golden gun. The other 2 would be either grind 10 million yen or grind Mhajong ranked, I honestly got lucky because I had 100k chips on the casino already, and managed to gain 144k from actually landing the jackpot on a high stakes roulette (which surprisingly didnt take me any retries after finding out i had a high stakes game up next). Buying sunbursts and selling them got me the needed money. Without this setup i would've had to spend several more hours getting those 10 million.
and finally, that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car chase on Legend, it sucks so much you need to replay the entire chapter, on a NG+ fully maxed its not had to do the chinese restaurant, but its just so time consuming its annoying. Thankfully i had it easier than most and managed to do it after about 3-4 total hours of attempts. Apparently the trick is to shoot on the neck and not on the top of the heads.
But oh well my quest is finally done, I'll take some weeks of doing other stuff before i jump into K2.

For the car chase, you are suppose to be aiming for the the center of the circle not at any specific part of the body. I think 9/10 people who struggle with the car chase because they try aiming for enemies head when that isn't anywhere close to being the best way to kill them. But that part of the game is without question the absolute worst segment of the game.

Agreed, 0 was very annoying and there were still parts of kiwami that were hard like mahjong but not as grindy, k2 is far easier since you get cheat items and the CP activities arent as strenuous

I had not much trouble with Mahjong this time around tbh, i learned the basics when doing 0 and ironically i did all the other objectives before going out 10 times. Heck even the cheating piece barely did anything for me lol

Pool is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks ass,majhong is becoming enjoyable after you've learned basics apart of rng part ofc,car chase was easy for me

I liked this game and was completing it on xbox, but when it came to the karaoke I just couldn´t, was looking forward to completing all yakuza games but knowing this ♥♥♥♥ is in every game I just dropped the game, it is so strict it just made the completition annoying, and that´s after learning how freaking mahjong works and gotten those challenges, seemed entertaining.

Are you able to tweak the graphic settings in the xbox? The game is clearly not optimized for the karaoke so it hitches in that part, however here at least lowering the resolution makes it more responsive, you still need a decent amount of rhythm sense/concentration to score 950 in haruka's song (assuming this is what you mean) but this "trick heavily helps"
Also idk if 3 an onwards have this same issue but im currently doing K2 and here its actually optimized, though im aware 3 remastered goes back to a similar style of 0 and K1

As far as I saw there is no option to adjust it, and it really messes the timing for it, the most I could get was 860 on the first song but 900 just seems impossible to me didn´t even get to the 950 haruka´s song, I may try to finish this games without attempting the 100% completition later after the hate for the karaoke subsides but knowing me it may make me stop caring about the secondary missions and they are the most entretaining part of the game as far as I played
